KOE has recently announced the release of a 7" full HD (FHD) resolution TFT LCD panel, with an LVDS interface - TX18D200VM0EAA.
The 7" form factor has been popular for some time, but with all the buzz surrounding Google's new Nexus 7's super sharp 1080p 7" display, we expect small FHD TFTs to be in demand in many industries including broadcast and home automation.
Official specs for the 7 inch 1920x1080 display module will be available in September, and samples will be available in Q4 2013.
Although the exact details of the spec have yet to be set in stone, we do know that the high definition display will feature an LVDS interface, which will be much more engineer friendly than the mipi interfaces of similar small high resolution displays.
Other interesting features that are expected include:
We will be sure to carry demos, and kits on this panel.
