Edge Electronics Receives Award from Lumex for Distributor Sales Growth

BOHEMIA, NY May 25, 2010 -- Edge Electronics, Inc. today announced it received an award recognizing Edge as the Lumex distributor with the Greatest Percentage of Growth in 2009. The authorized electronic component distributor and LCD solutions provider received the award while attending the Electronic Distribution Show in Las Vegas, Nevada.
“Edge has been successful in distributing Lumex’s line of LEDs and LCDs for a long time due in large part to our similar customer-centric philosophies based on competitive pricing, quick response time, and customized products and logistics, all of which provide manufacturers with solutions that make their job easier,” says Michael Pollina, Edge Electronics’ Director of Product Marketing. “Our mutual growth in a challenging year is a testament that customers value that kind of personal attention and investment in their success.”
Edge Electronics has been an authorized Lumex distributor since 2002. The company’s revenue generated by the sale of Lumex’s LED and LCD products grew 39.8% from 2008 to 2009.
