LCDs, TFT, Monitor Sizes (17.5"-22.5")
As an LCD module distributor, we can supply a wide range of TFT LCDs in the medium to large size range (17.5-22.5 inches diagonal size), generally referred to as LCDs for the monitor use. However the LCDs that you can buy from Edge are not for just any desktop monitor or laptop display. These are industrial grade LCDs of much higher quality, and so are to be used in the manufacturing of medical, military, transportation, digital signage, gaming, kiosk and media products. Some of the more common sizes in this range are are 17.5" (wide aspect ratio), 18.1", 19", 20.1", 21.3”, 22.5” (wide aspect ratio). These displays are generally very high-resolution, with common resolutions being SXGA, QSXGA, UXGA, and QXGA, and wide aspect ratio displays available in either a 17.5” WXGA or a 22.5” WUXGA. We have both monochrome and color displays to choose from.
Our industrial LCD suppliers in this size range are NEC and Optrex, LCD manufacturers with different capabilities specially designed for a wide variety of industrial applications. High-brightness, sunlight readability and long life product guarantees are some of the special features available. Work closely with one of our LCD solutions specialists to determine the perfect display for your project. We can also recommend and supply the proper LCD controller board, inverter, LED driver, cables, touch screen or other associated enhancement.
