MRAM for data that needs to persist.
Keep settings, logs and working data through loss of power. Everspin PERSYST MRAM offers Toggle, xSPI and DDR options. We help match the memory to your controller and coordinate samples, technical questions and supply.
Choose an MRAM family.
PERSYST includes Toggle, xSPI and DDR MRAM. Start with the controller interface, then compare density, package and operating temperature.
SPI and Quad SPI Toggle MRAM128 Kb to 4 Mb for persistent settings, event logs and embedded data.
SPI devices use a small pin count for frequent writes without a flash erase cycle. MR10Q010 provides a 1 Mb Quad SPI option with separate 3.3 V core and 1.8 V I/O supplies. Check the command set and power sequencing when replacing another serial memory.

Parallel Toggle MRAM256 Kb to 32 Mb with asynchronous 8-bit or 16-bit connections.
For controllers designed around asynchronous SRAM timing, parallel Toggle MRAM adds data persistence without battery backup. Address mapping, package pinout, bus width and read/write timing still need to match. MR5A16A automotive options use a 45 ns cycle; other listed production options use 35 ns.

Quad xSPI STT-MRAM4 Mb to 256 Mb on a 1.8 V supply, with standard and low-power options.
Quad xSPI devices support clocks up to 133 MHz. Low-power SC variants use up to 108 MHz in STR and 54 MHz in DTR, with a different write-endurance rating. Select the exact temperature grade and package before comparing performance.

Octal xSPI STT-MRAM4 Mb to 256 Mb with an eight-signal data bus and clocks up to 200 MHz.
Octal xSPI supports up to 400 MB/s transfers in double-transfer-rate operation. That bus maximum depends on the selected device, controller, command overhead and timing. It is distinct from the Quad xSPI performance limit.

DDR4 STT-MRAM1 Gb persistent memory with x8 or x16 organization for a supported DDR4 controller.
EMD4E001G AS2 operates at a 667 MHz clock with 1.2 V VDD/VDDQ and a 2.5 V VPP rail. Its specified retention is three months at 70 °C and cycle endurance is 10 billion. These limits differ from Toggle and xSPI MRAM; verify the controller and persistence requirements together.
High-reliability and custom requirements.
Selected Toggle and xSPI devices offer extended-temperature and AEC-Q100 Grade 1 options. Bring the exact temperature, qualification and mission requirements so we can coordinate the appropriate device and supporting reports with Everspin.
Radiation test results and custom screening apply to specific devices and test conditions. They do not make every MRAM part a space-qualified component.
Planning for unified memory?
UNISYST is Everspin’s announced code-and-data MRAM family. Its March 2026 launch announcement targets engineering samples in the fourth quarter of 2026. Contact us to discuss your design and confirm the current schedule.

Bring the processor connection requirements and the data you need to retain. We can help narrow the family before you commit to a particular device.
Contact us →- Processor and interface
- Bring the controller, interface, density and board constraints. SPI, Quad xSPI, Octal xSPI and DDR devices have different timing and supply requirements. We can help check the exact device before you qualify it.
- Writes and retention
- Describe the write frequency, transaction size and time data must remain without power. Toggle, xSPI and DDR MRAM have different retention and endurance limits, including separate limits for low-power SC versions.
- Operating conditions
- Include temperature, qualification requirements, quantities and production timing. We will coordinate the exact grade, supporting documentation and supply status, including NR parts used in existing designs.
