OEMs operating in harsher environments (especially demand high-quality, long-life solutions that can be brought to market quickly and inexpensively. An ideal distributor must have a clear understanding of industry requirements and the ability to maintain inventory for the key components involved, to support such a program.

A longtime customer in the military field reached out with a plan to adapt a complete solution for use in a harsh environment. This customer manufactures systems that must be qualified for deployment in sea, air, and ground applications. Because of this, parts for the project required component production longevity (for a minimum of 5 to 7 years) and an extended operating temperature range.

With careful consideration to the project requirements, the customer received a tailored "Plug-and-Play" demo kit featuring a 7" high bright full HD LCD from KOE paired with Digital View's harsh environment LCD controller board (HX-1920V3). After a testing process to compare other available options, the customer easily selected this combination as the best solution. The entire process took less than 30 days to complete and allowed the customer to bring their solution to market faster than their competition.
